About Dr. Ford

Dr. Ford completed her Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Allegheny Health Network, where she received specialized training in hip arthroscopy, cartilage restoration, complex shoulder reconstruction (including total, reverse, and Latarjet procedures), ACL reconstruction, and soft tissue repair. Prior to her fellowship, she served as Chief Resident during her residency at Inspira Health Network, where she was honored as Resident of the Year (President’s Award) and named Outstanding Research Resident of the Year multiple times.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Ford is heavily involved in high-level athletic care. She serves on the medical staff for major professional and international teams, including the Pittsburgh Pirates, the USA Men’s Rugby Team, and the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Soccer Club, alongside regional high school athletics. She is dedicated to applying evidence-based medicine and personalized care plans to help athletes and active individuals of all levels safely return to peak performance.

An active contributor to the advancement of orthopedic surgery, Dr. Ford serves on the editorial leadership for the Journal of Orthopedic Experience and Innovation (JOEI) and as a founding member of ROON (Orthopedic Community). Outside the clinic and operating room, she enjoys running, hiking, fitness, and exploring the outdoors with her two Golden Retrievers, Miles and Maverick.
